Refused Announce Tour Dates‏

Refused will return to the US for tour dates this spring, with shows kicking off on May 26 in San Francisco, CA at The Fillmore and concluding June 9 in Orlando, FL at The Beacham Theater. lThe Coathangers and Epitaph label mates Plague Vendor will join the tour as support. VIP upgrades will be available and all proceeds will be donated to MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station). Refused is also scheduled to perform at Houston Free Press Summer Festival on June 4. David Sandström, drummer of Refused explains: We’ve never felt so on fire. Our shows in the fall garnered praise all over the place, we’ve really got this monster tuned up.”

The Swedish hardcore titans released Freedom, their first album in 17 years last summer. Freedom is the band’s first new album since their iconic 1998 album The Shape of Punk to Come. If Shape blasted apart the constraints of the punk and hardcore world, Freedom goes a step further by incorporating the wide-ranging influences that have shaped band members’ personal tastes.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale Friday, February 19 at 10am local time at http://refused.soundrink.com.
