What do you love and hate about the Music Business?
We love that it provides a means to earn a living with art. Otherwise, we haven’t been given reason to “hate” the business.
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
We love the energy of a room full of people trying to connect with each other.
Is there a song on this latest CD that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?
Unanimously we all like the title track “Stay Gold.” It is the most unique sounding of all the songs on the album and we think lyrically it resonates with us in the most real way.
How have you evolved as an artist over the last few years? What made you decide to come back into the music business?
We’ve thrown acoustic guitar into the mix of writing and it’s given us a whole new perspective on writing. We’ve spent a lot more time focusing on what’s right for the song and not just stringing cool complicated parts together.
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, get drunk with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?
So tell us what’s next?
We continue to write new music while finding mediums to get our album Stay Gold out to new listeners.
