Junior Boys Share Video for “Over It”, Touring with Jessy Lanza, ‘Big Black Coat’ out This Friday 2/5 via City Slang‏

Having already announced Big Black Coat – their first album in almost five years, and also their first for City Slang, due February 5, 2016 – Junior Boys have today shared the video for the propulsive, techno leaning new single ‘Over It‘.

Watch the ‘Over It’ Video Here

The video was directed by Lee Skinner and is a testament to their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. The video stars Jeremy Greenspan and Matt Didemus along with beloved local artist and musician Martin Verrel – a person Greenspan says “embodies the creative spirit of our hometown”

Approaching Big Black Coat with renewed vigor is what encouraged Jeremy Greenspan and Matt Didemus to experiment with vocal treatments, as the former does on the idiosyncratically auto-tuned ‘Over It’ – a song that’s a sharp and indelibly catchy example of their rediscovered pop prowess.
