Cardiknox Announce Spring Tour with Carly Rae Jepsen, Debut Album ‘Portrait’ Out March 11th‏

LA dance-pop duo Cardiknox [Lonnie Angle and Thomas Dutton] have announced a spring tour with Carly Rae Jepsen starting on February 15th. The group is currently touring North America with The Knocks [dates below] behind their forthcoming debut album, Portrait, which is set for release on March 11th. The album art for Portrait was designed by rising graffiti and street art muralist, Tristan Eaton, who was recently featured at Shepard Fairey‘s Subliminal Projects.

The band recently debuted new track ‘Into The Night,‘ as part of the pre-order for Portrait. POPULAR called it “an inherently liberating piece of music-think of the moment the kids from The Breakfast Club get to leave detention.” The track follows the release of the band’s one-take video for single ‘On My Way‘ which Teen Vogue, deemed “the best new music video of the year (so far).”

Earning praise from SPIN, Vogue, Neon Gold, NYLON, Pigeons and Planes, Paste, FUSE, BillboardMTV, Idolator, and moreCardiknox have been on the road with Bleachers and Betty Who, performed at Lollapalooza, Sasquatch, Firefly, and made appearances at Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK this past fall. Watch them perform at Sasquatch HERE and catch them at Bonnaroo this summer.
