BIG BLACK DELTA Releases “Kid Icarus”

Big Black Delta, the solo project of Mellowdrone and M83’s Jonathan Bates, has released “Kid Icarus” the second track off of his upcoming sophomore album Trágame Tierra,which is set for an early 2016 spring release. Jonathan Bates has created a multi-layered new collection of songs that continue to build on Big Black Delta’s already explosive electronics by adding more icy Scandinavian-leaning beats, near-country acoustic warmth, and more live instrumentation. The first taste of Trágame Tierra came with the release of “RCVR” – a masterful collaboration between Bates and Debbie Gibson.
