SATE’s new video for “What Did I Do?” premieres today

To kick off the new year, Toronto’s own SATE launched her new video for her second single “What Did I Do?” today at Ebony.com. Featuring Cree Summer of A Different World fame, the video perfectly aligns with the song’s forceful energy and raw emotions.

“What Did I Do?” has been called “a rollicking rock-infused number that is equally infectious and reflective” by Under the Gun Review, which premiered the track. The video amplifies the same emotional intensity as the lyrics, as its stunning cinematography showcases the raw emotions from the actors involved.

“What Did I Do?” follows the release of SATE’s debut single “Warrior,” the video for which gave fans a first taste of the intense, burning passion and energy SATE brings to her music, like a lost collaboration between Tina Turner and Jimi Hendrix. Both of these singles exemplify one of SATE’s key traits; the energy and pure emotion she unleashes in her music and live show.

It will all be fully revealed upon the release of SATE’s full-length debut album, RedBlack&Blue, slated for April 2016. Stay tuned!
