For The Blade, Monroe partnered with close friend and mentor Vince Gill and Justin Niebank for production duties. The same team helmed her 2013 Warner Bros. debut the critical smash Like A Rose which was named the 2013 country album of the year by Rolling Stone and the New York Times.
