New Jersey-based, indie pop-rock band, Wyland, announce the release of their new single, “Butterflies.” The track is from the band’s third EP, set to drop in early 2016. By recording the forthcoming EP in a live setting, Wyland channeled a purely authentic sound that’s true to the band’s roots.

Wyland consists of Ryan Sloan (lead vocals, piano), Mauricio Salazar (guitar), Richard Joyce (drums) and James Preston (bass). Last summer Wyland performed at the Gentleman Of The Road Music Festival alongside notable musicians, including Mumford & Sons, Alabama Shakes and The Vaccines. Recently, they opened for Everclear and Taking Back Sunday, and performed the Center of the Universe Festival alongside Panic! At the Disco, American Authors and MisterWives.

Fresh off the heels of touring, Wyland began writing and recording for their forthcoming EP. Wyland has recently received praise from The Jersey Journal, PopMatters, The Deli and All Things Go. CMJ stated, “Wyland have an instantly digestible sound that will only alienate people who dislike the simplicity of a good ol’ pop-rock bender.” Stay tuned for more tracks from Wyland’s new EP!
