Rising pop-soul singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell released his debut EP ALL I KNOW today via 300 Entertainment. The EP, which was released in November in his native Australia, marks the soulful pop artist’s U.S. label debut in advance of his first North American tour dates. ALL I KNOW is available now at all digital retailers and first single “Remind Me” will hit airwaves this month.
Conrad Sewell broke into the international music charts with his massive hit song “Firestone,” which he wrote and recorded with global EDM breakout artist Kygo. The track, which has amassed over 350 million streams on Spotify, led to a record-breaking year for the music streaming service. Sewell delivers a stunning acoustic version of the worldwide hit song on his new EP. On ALL I KNOW Sewell collaborated with an all-star team of writers and producers including Jamie Hartman (Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone), Eric Rosse (Sara Bareilles, Gavin DeGraw), Brian Lee (Lady Gaga, Icona Pop) and Louis Bell.
Having just earned 2015’s illustrious ARIA Award for Song of the Year with his song “Start Again,“ which has topped the charts and been certified Platinum in Australia, Conrad is hitting the road in the U.S. where he will see a busy 2016. Soon to embark on a national tour with UK songstress Jess Glynne, with whom Sewell toured Europe in 2015, the 27 year-old will also appear on select dates with his “Firestone” collaborator Kygo. A full list of concert dates follows below.
Born in London, raised in Brisbane and now based in Los Angeles, Conrad Sewell has recently toured with Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran, as well as singer-songwriter Jess Glynne in the UK. Sewell made waves in the U.S. in 2015 with his first track “Hold Me Up,” which broke the Top 25 on the MediaBase Pop Radio chart. The song earned rave reviews and was dubbed an “upbeat, anthemic, just-about-impossible-to-not-get-swept-away-in pop track,” by Entertainment Weekly. Rolling Stone also praised his live performances saying, “Onstage, Sewell draws upon the gravitas of Hozier (“Remind Me”), but knows his way around a mic stand as well as any Jonas Brother.” NYLON astutely predicted a major year for the artist noting, “Conrad’s soulful voice that oozes pop aesthetics has landed him a wide range of upcoming projects you need to pay attention to.” USA Today also included Sewell in its “5 Artists to Watch Out For in 2016” feature and Pandora and Shazam both named the rising star an artist to watch in 2016 as well.
Sewell recently performed across the U.S. at iHeartRadio’s sold out Jingle Ball dates alongside music’s brightest pop stars including Demi Lovato, One Direction and Selena Gomez.
