On March 11 the duo will release a live CD/DVD, Family Vacation: Live in the USA via MVD Entertainment; Family Vacation is a concert film with a live companion album that captures The Dollyrots on their 2015 summer tour with long-time roadmates Bowling For Soup. Its 40 minutes of pure rock frenzy, harnessed by filmmaker Ian MacLeod and delivered as both a video/audio download and deluxe double disc set.

To fund the upcoming release the band is in the midst of their 3rd crowdfunded project via PledgeMusic with plenty of pledger only exclusives and unique items like tour guitars, video chats, back stage passes, tour experiences and much more. As always, regardless of what you order, all pledgers will receive the digital download of the live before the general public gets their hands on it.  Check out the PledgeMusic campaign and all the goodies here:

The band is preparing for a trek through Europe with friends Bowling for Soup and to coincide with these shows they are releasing a 3-song EP of all new material titled Mama’s Gonna Knock You Out on January 29.

Their 2014 release, Barefoot And Pregnant garnered their first chart appearance peaking at #7 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums and followed a highly successful crowdsourcing campaign through PledgeMusic. The follow-up to the group’s 2012’s self-titled LP, two albums on Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, and a 2004 debut through Lookout/Panic Button Records.
