INTERVIEW: Mohawk Radio

Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Hi Vents… We’ve been really busy… touring… recording… rocking out and of course promoting Hocus Pocus.

Can you tell us more about the story behind your latest track ¨Hocus Pocus¨?

Hocus Pocus, is really a dong about the magical power of losing your self and having no inhibitions… when that happens… there is no telling what you can do!

Did any event in particular inspire this song?

Mia read somewhere once that we all have a little stardust in our bones… she found this incredibly inspiring and thus the song sprung from that .. the line ‘ Hocus Pocus of the evening… with the stardust in our eyes… was the first line and the inspiration of the song.

How was the film experience?

It was incredible. We worked with the amazingly talented Green Titan film team over several months to create the spooky, magical darkness that is depicted in this music video.

How was the recording and writing process?

The recording and writing process are always a pleasure for us, we love being in the studio.

With two EPs under your belt, can we expect a third one soon – how´s that coming along?

We are currently in and out of the studio between touring, and are scheduled to release a few singles in the new year.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

Our next single is which will be released in Jan 2016 is 2 Million Hearbeats… we may just let our fans name the next one.

Will you be playing with other styles or will this be a follow up?

We are constantly evolving our sound.. so while we stay true to our ‘Mohawk’ sound, we will be pushing the boundaries of what we have produced previously…

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes! We are very busy until the end of the year… next year we will be on the festival circuit and have plans to tour parts of Europe

What else is happening next in Mohawk Radio´s world?

World Domination of course!
