Dallas-based locally-run ticketing company Prekindle is teaming up with local online event source Do214 to throw a holiday party like no other this winter at Club Dada. Featuring special performances by Dallas’ best up-and-coming artists, “The Holiday Party” will take place on Friday, Dec. 18 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Deep Ellum and will serve as a celebration for those who support local music year-round in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. With rapper/producer Blue, The Misfit, rockers The Misteries, ethereal electro-pop artist Sudie, a solo set by Color TV, and special DJ set by Son of Stan hitting the stage that evening, the event will feature a diverse lineup of emerging artists from right here in DFW who are on the verge of breaking out. The event is free to attend with RSVP through Prekindle, and attendees can purchase award-winning sliders, as seen on The Food Network, on-site from Full Circle Tavern. Some lucky party-goers will receive a “Stoli Crush,” a tasty cocktail made with Stoli Oranj and Red Bull Yellow Edition, on Do214‘s tab. Club Dada is located at 2720 Elm St., Dallas, Texas 75226.
To RSVP in advance for free entry to “The Holiday Party,” please visit http://do214.com/theholidayparty. Attendees can also donate $5 at the door to benefit local charity The Family Place, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering victims of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence. Those who donate $10 will receive an official limited edition “The Holiday Party” shirt courtesy of local print shop Printed Threads. Get in the holly jolly spirit and come out on Friday, Dec. 18 for a rad night with all your homies and killer tunes. Also, look for a special appearance from the BIG guy himself! You guessed it, SANTA.
Sponsors of “The Holiday Party” include Do214, Prekindle, Printed Threads, Goose Island, Stoli and CultureHype.
