Alternative rock trailblazers Seether have released a brand new video for their track “Save Today”, watch it here: http://vevo.ly/uPrAHL. The super vibrant, color saturated video features front man Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart and drummer John Humphrey pummeled by an astonishing assortment of objects thrown by real Seether fans before a thorough cleansing, both literal and metaphoric, washes it all away. The band turned once again to video director Nathan Cox (“Same Damn Life”) to create the stunning visuals for “Save Today”, a favorite track of his from Isolate and Medicate.
Nathan said of the experience, “Shaun and I had a great working relationship on the video for “Same Damn Life.” We collaborated on the concept and had a really fun shoot day. The band members were troopers. They had people throwing eggs and lettuce and tomatoes at them and they were not holding back. Some of the shots were pretty gnarly. If you look closely you can see Shaun get hit in the nuts with an egg and at the same time a water balloon explodes on the back of his head… The fans that were able to come out were fantastic. I hope the viewers enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it.”
“Save Today” is the latest hit single-#6 and climbing-among many from 2014’s highly regarded Isolate and Medicate, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and has gone on to sell more than 170,000 copies in the U.S. alone. Seether closed out 2015 with a nationwide headlining tour that wrapped up at the end of October. They will kick off 2016 with a performance on the sold out Shiprocked Cruise that sets sail from Miami, FL on January 18th. More info here: http://www.shiprocked.com/experience/itinerary/
