Managing to the blur the lines between dance, electronica, indie and pop music, and then getting it to work coherently, could be seen as quite an unenviable task. However, Adrian Lux – the Swedish producer behind the mammoth “Teenage Crime” – makes it work on his stunning new single released via Ultra Music.
The track, titled “Torn Apart”, is driven by a wistful female lead vocal which itself is underpinned by some amazing atmospheric pads, guitar licks and uplifting string sections throughout. Lux delivers something that will resonate with anyone who likes any of the aforementioned music styles, which is no mean feat.
“Torn Apart” is out now to buy and can be bought here.
