Laila Biali & The Radiance Project (@lailabiali) Release Three New Videos

Laila Biali is closing out 2015 with a bang! Just last week, she sang background vocals for Sting during the lighting of the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and now she is excited to share three brand new videos for tracks from her April release. Heading in to the new year, Laila will hit the road in February and the beginning of March.
The first of three videos is for the track, You. It was directed by Edith Maybin and filmed at her home in Burlington. The video was inspired by the work of iconic experimental filmmaker, Maya Deren, and tells the story of an obsessed and jilted lover, featuring Laila’s hair as the protagonist.
Next up is the video for Little Bird, which was filmed in Rouge Park and directed by Daniel Shoesmith. Laila comments, “The glowing orbs I follow throughout the video are real – ping pong balls hanging from fishing poles that I interact with as their handlers guide me along the path. A special drone was also built and used for the final bird’s eye shot of this video.”
And last but not least, Shadowlands – directed by Julian Van Mil and filmed in Toronto. “I was placed on a large spinning turntable, rotating slowly throughout and captured wearing vintage Sunday bonnets as a quirky nod to the gospel quality of the song,” says Laila. “The playful animated special effects added in sync up with various components of the track.”
Stay tuned for more from Laila Biali in the new year!
