RIVERSYDE To Appear On The Real Radio
Alternative rock band RIVERSYDE will appear on the The Real Radio Show on WRCN 103.9 FM, November 7, at 8 a.m. in New York. The Real Radio Show is unscripted, with celebrities and indie acts every morning, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., with hosts AJ Pero from Twisted Sister, Frankie Dee, and Henry K.
RIVERSYDE is scheduled to perform in NYC at the Café Wha?, November 7, at 8 p.m. Since the 1950s, the Café Wha? has been a favorite hot spot cornered in the heart of Greenwich Village. The Café Wha? was the original stomping ground for Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Peter, Paul & Mary, and Kool and the Gang. The New York Times raves, “Power house talent – you’d be hard-pressed to find a more exhilarating evening out.”
In April, RIVERSYDE was selected as one of the forty bands that performed at the annual Indie Music Fest in Las Vegas. The band released their debut album, See Us Now, in March 2012 and is #3 on the Austin alternative charts on ReverbNation. The 16-track CD ranges from soulful ballads, to rock, to an even heavier sound.
“Hailing from Austin, Texas, this group has come up with tight and distinct music that gives their album a feeling of uniqueness. Vocalist Shane Blake has a deep, throaty voice that explodes with overflowing emotion when the music swells and crashes. Their sound seems to come from a variety of influences, which helps to showcase the talent of these guys, and the driving rhythm section keeps the album moving forward.” –Round Magazine
“Production on the album is second to none. The quality of the music and presentation is what you would expect from national artists that are played on the radio and touring to sold out venues every day. For an unsigned band to produce something of this quality and still not be as well known as some of the nationals in this genre is a travesty.” –Frank Arena, Project Backstage
“The general feel of this CD is upbeat and it seems to me like it could do well on the radio. Shane Blake has a rather gravelly vocal quality that gives him an everyday guy kind of feel.” –Raul Amador, Bass Musician Magazine
