Conspiracion Urbana

Who’s Conspiración Urbana? How you guys all met?

We’re a band from Mexico born on January 2008 influenced by many musical styles like nu-metal, hardcore, alternative, techno, trance, psycho, etc. We were in other bands before Conspiracion Urbana so we met in the local shows where our old bands used to perform in the same shows.

What’s the story behind the band’s name?

It’s simple; we were just looking for a name easy to remember and sounded huge and powerful at the same time.

Are there any message you guys are looking to spread with your music?

Not really, we just like people to enjoy our music and get identified with our songs anyway we´re always trying to give something interesting to think about into all our song’s lyrics.

How you see the metal music scene out there in Mexico?

Right now it’s constantly growing up, there are a lot of talented bands around the country and also you can find public for almost any kind of music although the best shows are always in the biggest cities of the country such as Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey and Tijuana.

What are your music influences?

Bands like Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Dir en Grey, A Perfect Circle, Static-X, Korn, Deftones, Turmion Katilot among other ones.

How would you describe your music?

We define it as Industrial Rock and Alternative Metal with a dark touch.

How was it to share the stage with Arcadia Libre, Here Comes The Kraken, Thell Barrio and Logan?

It’s really good, we’ve made a great friendship with those bands supporting each other and everyone of us have the purpose of making into the musical scene something serious and professional always offering very good quality stuff.

Can you give us an insight and any new details about your new album? Any release date yet, title?

We’re still working on what will be our new album, we don’t have a date nor title yet but will be ready in a couple of months, what we just can preview is this next album will be more heavy, electronic and complex.

What has been the funniest moment you have been or took part while touring?

After every show when we get along with other bands and people who attended the show we always have very funny moments doing jokes or nonsense stuff.

Are there any plans for the near future?

For now we want to finish our next album and in a couple of weeks we’ll release a new video clip for the song “Psyque Vampire” there will be more photo sessions, videos and interesting stuff, be aware.

Do you feel you are moving on the right direction?

Definitely yes, we’re gaining many followers little by little and we expect much more fans after releasing the new album so we’ll keep working hard to achieve a good place in the musical scene.
