Clairo Pairs Up With SG Lewis For New Track “Better”

As her North American arena tour with Dua Lipa draws to an end this week and she prepares for her SOLD-OUT headlining tour starting on July 17, 19-year-old artist Clairo has released a brand new song titled ‘Better,’ a stunning summer jam and collaboration with esteemed British songwriter, producer and musician SG Lewis. The single is available on all digital platforms from today.

Brought together by a chance writing session in LA, SG Lewis and Clairo’s chemistry in the studio became immediately apparent. “The process was so natural, I kept the beat unquantized from the jam as I felt like it gave the record an old disco feel,” says SG of the track. The single is the perfect marriage of SG’s signature warm, sunny house production and Clairo’s dreamy vocal delivery and signature lyricism. “Sam is one of the most talented producers I know.”Clairo tells of their collaboration. “We met the same day that we made this song, and just clicked instantly. “Better” is one of the first real steps I’ve made into Pop music and this collab feels like a match made in heaven!”

Starting on July 17Clairo and her band will be performing at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall, then will making 18 more stops across the country, including appearances at Mo Pop Festival in Detroit and Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.

In September, Clairo will be venturing across the Atlantic to perform in Europe for the very first time. She will be appearing at D Code Festival in Madrid, Spain on September 8 and The Garage in London, UK on September 12. In November, she will be performing in Mexico City and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
