The track has already exploded into summer having caught the eager ears of Vodafone Italy who selected ‘Something so Good’ to be the soundtrack to their #ConnectingWithPride campaign for LGBT rights. The tune is buzzing within the community ready to become a true summer hit.
With an enticing mix of pop and R&B beats ‘Something so Good’ is the up-tempo single to launch her forthcoming EP ‘I do it for Love’ which she is currently performing in some of London’s hottest venues.
“Music to me is about meaning, it’s about bringing an emotion to life through a melody, a beat, lyrics that say those words you’ve been scared to tell but that you want to shout to the world, to the person you love.”
Although originally from Italy Alessandra Grace has lived all around the world. Classically trained pianist since age 5 she grew up listening to classics such as Etta James, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys though her influences are widespread rooting to different corners of the world from Italy to the US to the UK to South America.
After resigning from a successful career to pursue her love for music full time Alessandra Grace moved to LA to develop as a writer and to find herself as an artist.
She decided to push her classical boundaries further upon meeting hip-hop and R&B producer Matthew MOZ Jenkins who merged her love for Adele piano lead ballads and brit pop superstars such as Sam Smith and Rita Ora to a mid-tempo sexy R&B beat.
“The connection was immediate, Moz started creating the beat and I could hear the tune and the lyrics. It was magic.”
Alessandra Grace is based in London and continues working between London, LA and Milan promoting her new single and preparing the release of her EP ‘I do it for Love’.
