INTERVIEW: Long-Distance

Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Better than yesterday.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Grail”?

‘Grail’ was a labour of love.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

The mundane, recycled things we need to do every day that prevent us from achieving.

Any plans to release a video for the single?

Very soon. This month. Hopefully.

How was the recording and writing process?

The process was a lengthy one. However, we were lucky enough to work with some incredible people on this song. We recorded in two studios and sent it over to Beau Burchell (Saosin, Moose Blood) in California to be mixed.

What role does Glasgow plays in your music?

Glasgow is, and has become, home for each of us. It will never not play a role.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

Writing never stops.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

Sooner than you think.

Any plans to hit the road?

Always.

What else is happening next in Long-Distance’s world?

Shows. Video. Songs. More shows.
