Kicking off our premiere week, we got the hauntingly catchy band Good Night Gold Dust who are back with their 80s-ish awesome video for their infectious single “Waves”.
About “Waves”, Scharf says: “I worked on the song for two years, tweaking lyrics and arrangement. For a while I worried the chorus didn’t made sense – ‘I’ve forgotten how to forget the bad parts / It’s getting harder to remember the good’. It’s a sort of double-negative-creates-a-positive motif. I suppose that’s appropriate for the song.”
The “Waves” music video was directed by Mark Martinez.
