PLESTED Release ‘Habits’

Twenty-four year old singer/songwriter Plested started his career as one half of acclaimed duo Chasing Grace, but it would take a year before he realised that he really just wanted to write songs. Once he had chosen this direction, however, what followed was a bonafide streak of prolific sessions – writing and releasing music with a number of artists ranging from Emeli Sande to Zayn Malik. In the space of a year, Plested has become one of the most sought after writers in the industry, but that’s a only part of his story: quietly putting an album together month by month, this is the first taste of Plested’s solo material as an artist in his own right. 

‘Habits’ is an immediately soulful, innately captivating blend of stripped electric guitar coupled with the kind of piercing vocal that brings shivers. It’s a wrenching, burning ode to the wrong kind of love.
