VENTS’ Frame by Sound Festival Announce Date For 2017 Edition

Last August, VENTS broke away with the traditional film and music festival norms by offering audience the chance of enjoying some great films from all over the world by promising filmmakers and musicians in the indie and underground circuit from the comfort of their own home. In addition, we presented our first movie awards where nine out of 100+ (semi and finalists listed below) incredible films were selected by our small but thoughtful jury comprised of celebrity photographer and filmmaker Marc Cartwright and songwriter/music producer Zack Hemsey and won in one of our nine categories. You can catch on some exclusive interviews here with the winners.

Not only did we get to feature some great films, but we had the opportunity of sit down with some talented people in the industry to discuss on their current projects, professional tips and more. All the way from the TV field like Michael Lange, Rachel Skidmore, Lev L. Spiro and Jeff T. Thomas to film editor Glenn Garland, GoT/Justice League’s DP Fabian Wagner and songwriter Agnes Obel. And if that wasn’t enough, we had some great bands and artists such as Maureen Toth, Carlos Calvo, Vienna Ditto and Nerve Leak performing live.

Now, none of this would have been possible without the support from our sponsor Final Draft and sites like Festival Reviews, Circuit Sweet, Mundo Peliculas, Music Matters and L3 Magazine.

Last but no least, we are proud to announce that we are returning on July 31st to August 6th, 2017. Speakers and more to info to be reveal on January, 2017.
