Leicestershire band Sonificade release their brand new single this month via Circular Records.
Sonificade are a new 4-piece alternative indie-rock band based in the Midlands, UK. The lineup combines members from the bands, ‘The Procession’, (James, Martin & Paul) and ‘LuckyNumberOne’, (Rob) and is a fresh, exciting evolution for them. The Procession attracted lots of attention on the local scene and beyond with their otherworldly sound and volatile live performances. They also won an international unsigned band competition as well as received critical acclaim for both recorded material and live work. Sonificade will build on past success to connect with that loyal fan base.
Signed to Scottish label Circular Records, 2016 promises to be an exciting year for the Sonificade. Their debut single ‘Me Can Out’ is set for release in November 2015, with their debut album, ‘Despite All The Noise’ to follow in early 2016.
Moving away from homely comforts at Kasabian’s secret studio complex in Leicestershire Sonificade have enlisted up-and-coming Scottish producer Garry Boyle at the Slate Room, part of the famous Castle Sound Studios just outside Edinburgh for the recording of ‘Despite All The Noise’. The result is a stunning soundscape evoking a journey of emotions whilst packing a powerful punch!
Sonificade plan to release a retrospective collection of former work next year. They have also been recording more material for the follow up to Despite All The Noise and that is coming to a close soon so, the next 12 months promises to be a fruitful time.
Early previews of the album have been well received, already winning the acclaim of Absolute Radio journalist and DJ Pete Donaldson, and Phil Clifton of MTV/Radio X fame. The resulting hype means Sonificade has garnered interest from across the wider media spectrum, with them featuring in upcoming TV and Fictional novels in the coming months. With plans for a full UK tour and numerous festival slots, Sonificade will be sure to bring their unique energy to towns across the UK over the next 12 months.
